Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS) shares soared to a year-to-date high on June 3rd<\/sup> after the company teamed up with the Nvidia MGX\u2122 Ecosystem to accelerate 800 VDC AI infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The deal centers on NVTS supplying \u201cpower delivery boards\u201d that eliminate the 48V intermediate bus converter stage within compute server trays.<\/p>\n

It targets 97.5% peak efficiency at 1 MHz switching frequency and a power density of 2,100 W\/in\u00b3, the press release added.<\/p>\n

Including today\u2019s surge, Navitas stock is trading at nearly 4x its price at the start of this year (2026).<\/p>\n

Why Nvidia MGX news matters for Navitas stock<\/h2>\n

NVTS shares\u2019 explosive rally this morning makes sense since landing a role inside Nvidia\u2019s MGX ecosystem is not a trivial marketing win \u2013 it\u2019s a technical endorsement from the world\u2019s largest AI hardware firm.<\/p>\n

By removing the 48V intermediate bus converter stage entirely, Navitas\u2019s GaNFast tech delivers a more efficient power path from the 800V rack directly to the GPU level \u2013 exactly what hyperscalers are demanding as AI data center power budgets balloon into the gigawatt range.<\/p>\n

CEO Chris Allexandre has deliberately pivoted the business away from \u201clow-margin\u201d mobile and consumer segments toward this market.<\/p>\n

And NVDA showcase is the clearest external validation yet that the strategy is working \u2013 and that Navitas is not merely riding the AI wave from a distance, but is embedded in it.<\/p>\n

NVTS shares are egregiously overvalued<\/h2>\n

On the surface, Navitas\u2019 fundamentals appear impressive; the company\u2019s AI market revenue came in up some 35% year-on-year in the first quarter, and Q2 guidance<\/a> implies another 16% sequential growth.<\/p>\n

But context matters enormously. The MGX announcement that\u2019s driving NVTS higher today is an ecosystem showcase \u2013 not a disclosed design win with binding revenue commitments.<\/p>\n

Yet, the company is demanding investors to pay more than 125x sales at current levels. For context, SpaceX \u2013 even at a valuation of $1.75 trillion \u2013 would command a sales multiple of just over 100x.<\/p>\n

In other words, the company seems to be doing enormously well (financially), and NVDA\u2019s vote of confidence matters a lot. <\/p>\n
